Art in the Park showcases around 250 artists with a wide
variety of artwork and crafts. It is a juried show and
one of the largest in Ontario, with well over 20,000
visitors every year. It takes place in beautiful
Willistead Park, with entertainment and a large food
court.

Celebrate the world at your doorstep! Carrousel by the
River brings together unique arts and crafts, unusual
cultural displays, and exotic costumes and of course the
worlds’ best known foods from countries all over the
globe. The flavours, aromas and sights are truly unique
and memorable. Carousel by the River is an outdoor
festival - ideally suited all members of the entire
family. Whether you are eight, eighty-eight or
somewhere in-between, there is something for you to
discover. We proudly showcase our community’s diversity
through our Children’s area as well as the continuous
entertainment from opening to closing. Once you
discover the Carrousel by the River, you will surely
want to visit all the Villages of the Carrousel of the
Nations. This is a very special occasion as we are
celebrating our 33rd Anniversary this year.

Windsor
Elvis Fest is a 3 day music festival that annually takes
place in late June. The festival is licensed by Elvis
Presley Enterprises Inc and includes a preliminary
tribute artist contest. The grand champion of the
contest is entered in the annual ultimate Elvis tribute
artist contest in Memphis. Festival also includes
headliner shows, a car show, and other 50's, 60's, 70's
music. The festival annually draws 60 tribute artists and
the 5000 audience at all events.

Parade begins at 11:00am with entries from across
Michigan, New York, Wisconsin and Ontario to help
celebrate Canada's 142nd birthday. Following the parade,

International Dragon Boat Festival raises money for
Hospitals in our area by racing Dragon Boats. To date we
have raised $1.1 million dollars for breast cancer. We
have over 85 teams that compete at Sandpoint beach and
this is our 7th year.

Windsor Emancipation Celebration Corp. Presents a
multi-cultural festival commemorating the 1833
Emancipation Act, which banned slavery throughout
the British Empire. Experience the heritage, beauty
and culture through live music, carnival, tours,
games, sports and
children’s
play, the Miss Sepia Pageant and vibrant colors of
the
masquerades in the Parade along with the Martin
Luther King Marching Band!!! The Grand Gala being
held July 24th at St. Clair Centre with Honorable
Jean Augustine (First Black Women in the House of
Commons) as a keynote speaker.
We have also added 2 new additions to the
Emancipation Day Celebration: A Carnival (Carter
Shows) and Martin Luther King Marching Band (marched
in the Olympics and Obama's
Inaugural Parade)!!!
